Silver Strikers Football Club has announced the appointment of Peter Mgangira as the team’s new Head Coach replacing Peter Mponda who resigned earlier this week.
In a statement released by the club on Saturday night, the Club believes that Mgangira who has been an integral part of the Silver Strikers’ technical panel, is the ideal candidate for the position as he has a proven leadership abilities and a deep understanding of the team.
“A distinguished former player of Silver Strikers and a dedicated member of the coaching panel for nearly a decade. Mr Mgangira brings unparalleled knowledge of the Club’s culture and values. His extensive experience, combined with his qualifications, positions him as the ideal candidate to steer the team,” reads the statement in part.
The statement further states that the Club reiterates its commitment to achieving success on and off the pitch.
The TNM Super League champions parted ways with coach Peter Mponda who is tipped to be a replacement for Kallisto Pasuwa at FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.
